Western diamondback rattlesnakes are legally harvested throughout the southern, western United States. As its eastern cousin, it is usually non-aggressive, unless stepped on or provoked, and can strike up to 2/3rds of its length. The entire skin is a more grey/black/white, much muted from its eastern cousin. The western diamondback is illegal for Leather Plus to ship to California. Reticulated (diamond) pythons are legally harvested from many of the tropical areas of the world. Most of our skins come from Indonesia. The smaller, tighter patterns of diamonds, are on younger snakes. Most of the larger diamond patterns are what you would expect to find on cowboy boots, as the diamond pattern enlarges and the skin thickens with the age of the snake. Each skin is tagged with a CITES (certificate for the international trade of exotic skins), proving that the skin has legally passed custom inspections. All python is illegal for Leather Plus to ship to California. Please provide an address outside of CA for us to ship your wallet.
